AT&T Blandford

Project Brief

To design, manufacture & install high level vehicle exhaust extraction to remove the diesel exhaust fumes from the Large ‘Disaster Recovery’ generator trailers, located within the unit.

Project Goals

After undertaking the original installation of 2 fully ducted Vehicle Exhaust Hose Reels, for the Global telecommunications corporation AT&T, which had worked so well for a number of years, we were invited to assist them again with their premises re-location. They had outgrown their existing premises of 595M² by some way, as this area could only house 2 disaster recovery trailers at any 1 time.

Their new premises of 5100M² allowing for up to 8 Disaster recovery trailers, required 5 fully ducted Vehicle Exhaust Hose Reels over a total distance of 80M.

Due to the large scale of the premises, we also had to design and fabricate the supporting steelwork for the Exhaust Hose Reels. Working in conjunction with AT&T’s structural engineers and within health & safety constraints, all of these factors came into complete sync as the project was installed and commissioned with ease, giving the client a fume extraction system fit for purpose.
