To design, manufacture & install high level general extraction to remove steam laden air from the Dairy Department.
A ‘Lush’ job
Globally Renowned cosmetic retailer Lush, headquartered in Poole had an issue in their Dairy Department with a large amount of steam being generated by the mixing vats and ‘lingering’ in the area.
Although the steam is not hazardous, the visibility within the area was becoming dangerous, as it is a high employee traffic area.
We designed a system that will remove the air within the area 15 times every hour. However, as their manufacturing demands fluctuate at some points of the year, we designed the system in 2 separate sections, so that during less busy periods the amount of air removed every 7.5 times an hour.
This has enabled complete control over their demands of the system requirements.
